Who Is In Pursuit?
TROY REEVES, co-founder of In Pursuit, began his career serving in the Canadian Forces as a medic and then a nursing officer for 12 years. Specializing in psychiatric mental health, he then transitioned into community and provincial health as a mental health clinician until opening up his own private practice in 2017. Now an executive coach, speaker, and trainer with The John Maxwell Team, this was a natural progression for Troy as he strongly believes that the lens of therapy is best complimented with the lens of a coach so that clients, businesses, and executives can all effectively move from their past, into their present, and optimizing their future.
Troy is a long-time student of leadership and mentorship, is working on his fourth book, and believes that storms are something that each of us can learn to be thankful for; that fear is something we run toward, not away from; and that once we learn HOW to think (as opposed to reading or listening about WHAT to think) we can discover a path for change. Though we may not be able to change our storms or our circumstances, when we change, our circumstances become irrelevant. Troy now works with clients all across Canada, the US, and Belize. When he is not busy trying to change the world, Troy enjoys playing strategic board games, strumming his guitar and travelling. He lives with his wife of 22 years and his three sons.
